went for SLOCC and SLOYC concert ytd. the children's choir was good. :) the youth choir was horrible, to be honest. :/ the children's choir brought back many memories from my primary school's choir. they sang songs like 'the daffodils', 'land for joy', 'what a wonderful world', 'over the rainbow', 'it's a small world' etc. all these songs were thoroughly enjoyed by me in JPS, which can never be reminisced in CTSS yeah. especially daffodils, our p6 set piece, where we got gold. :) ok the youth choir was really small. then there were 4 of the SLOYC girls which sang tgt with the children's choir. there's this SLOYC girl standing at the extreme right. she sang for YC and CC and was slouching throughout the whole concert! wonder why miss khor even let her sing for the CC as well lorh. then when the combined choir sang 'ye lai xiang', it was damn nice larh, with the piano and violin accompaniment! they were swaying at one point, then that particular girl din sway leh! until the last part then she did a bit! it was like damn obvious can!! yuck, if i were miss khor i sure slap her after the concert then she know... =.= i especially loved the way the choir sang 'colours of the wind'. when they reached the chorus, my goosebumps stood up!! :D
lol anw after the concert, which ended considerably early, i called my dad and he said he was still at home so i must take MRT all the way back to boon lay! then everyone their parents like fetch them up and then left a few ppl only. then i ask yiling take MRT back with me then she say her leg a lot of blisters and she can't walk (cos she wore very tight shoes) so she pangseh me and take 106 back with jingwen... =.= what the hell!!!
then lucky lorh, i called qianhua and she said that she and jacqueline were still strolling along Singapore River. so i asked them if they would take MRT back with me and they agreed!! ^^ so nice of them. :) after they took some pics, then we walked to city hall MRT, b4 that passing by a dessert shop. then qianhua treated me and jac to a brownie which cost $4 i think. i told her no need liao but she insisted so i took it! it was nice. :) i dunno luh, i think i'm so lucky to have such caring seniors! both of them sent me all the way back to boon lay MRT despite the time being 11pm and they lived rather far away from me!! we had a very good chat in the train and i learnt more things that i have never expected of yeah! :D thanks so much for accompanying me, qianhua and jacqueline!! :)
today had choir practice. but b4 that, we booked the youth club house and had a section talk about choir-related stuff. turned out quite well. :) i asked the sop 1s for opinions and they said we are generally doing quite well. :) well, if you guys have any opinions, rmb to voice out to me hor!! i will understand der guys! just let me know and i can make the changes ok...:) we completed sectionals of 'the white horses' (the most difficult set piece song there can ever be) section A to E and it turned out quite well. :D walao and mrs wong kept the four of us back until 6.45pm today luh and on monday oso! nag like shit sianz... =.= talking about next year's SYF and other issues.
