the first week of sec 3 has finally come to an end. i've finally been able to find time to post as it's homework and more homework everyday! it's like bringing at least 2 thick books to sch everyday man! oh gosh, a thousand thoughts are running through my mind now. sec 3 has indeed been significantly different from sec 1 and sec 2, which i would say are the honeymoon years for each and every individual's secondary school life. first day of school was kinda boring, since it's the first time being in a new class and we aren't actually doing anything in class due to the school tour. however, this week has definitely been good.
sec 3 is different in comparison with lower sec. firstly, we're in upper sec. it's time for all to be mature! in lower sec, you'd hear classmates saying the F word probably every second. but since im in 3C1 now, all students are indeed generally well-behaved. as such, i have not heard the F word ever since sch reopened. :) secondly, all the 'hardcore' studies people are in our class. even though the past year many weren't but now have become to. it's like when the teacher speaks or teaches, no student is talking but paying attention to the teacher. and when it's time to do homework, nobody ever complains but just do it willingly! :O and of course, no one ever complains about the amount of homework we have, which is truly shocking! and the silence in the class is so deafening that we are not used to last 2 years. which is why wanqi and i calls it 'noise'. the more 'noise' they make, the weirder! all these used to only appear when exams drew near in lower sec. but now, it happens practically everyday, even when sch just started! :D
the teachers are indeed pinning high hopes on our class. im really tired, after one whole week of doing homework late into the night. time seems to really fly fast when one is engrossed in doing work. like just now during A math: all of us were really thinking hard on solving the sums that the bell just rang when it seems as though 10 minutes passed only! i should say that this is a very good sign. hope this keeps up till we're in sec 4.
im really glad to see symptoms of primary school life appearing again! as in the attitude to study come back. :) im also happy to see the 2D1'08-ders and choir people in 3C1 doing well this year. hopefully we can pass o'levels with flying colours!
im starting to like 3C1'09 even more now! :D [though not everyone but the people i know. :) :) :)]
