oh my gosh. this book is terrifyingly good! published in 1998 and i only managed to read it now by chance!! haish my sis buy at borders some time a few years ago then she dint bother reading and dumped it in her shelve. my maid read it 2 years back i think. then the bored me was looking for sth to digest on and found this. wow 1016pg long book. fantastic. about a girl called judith having to face decision-making at the age of 14. how to manage money, relationships, family gone, world war 2 et cetera. oh yeah a lot of romance heehee!! starting was quite boring. but if you endure, u'll get the gist of it and it starts to get interesting in the middle! best book i've read so far! u can tell cos i neglected hw and other stuff just to read this book. oh "Edward Carey-Lewis" and "Jeremy Wells" rock man!! hahaha!
