hello world. i realised that i have not been posting recently. haha i don't really care if anyone bothers to read, cos its more like a diary for myself. :) im the sentimental sort so yeah.
ok hmm lots of stuff have happened this term, and i have to say that it had been quite an ordeal. studies, not living up to expectations and the year of the big 'O's is indeed painful to hear. thankfully there are friends who stand by me, encouraging, talking, and gossiping with me hahaha! :D yeah that brings stress levels down for a moment. :) i had better do something about my grades, though i know that i still haven't overcome procrastination. :(
didn't attend aesthetics camp day one ytd due to piano exam. grade 8 practical. :S i spent the whole of sunday and monday morning practicing my pieces, but to no avail. the sweat glands in my palm just produced and produced never-endingly during my pieces, causing history to repeat itself again. why does this always happen when im nervous??? hai.. yeah not so much of adrenaline haha. thank goodness it got better and better, with my aural supposedly being the best and pieces worst. wasted. D: but i really want to thank all the people who wished me and encouraged me for my 2nd attempt, and to the seniors and peers who helped me with some aural questions. :) thank you very much! ^^
haha so attended aesthetics camp day 2. wow finally a decent-looking aesthetics tee! :) like it! ^^ wasn't as boring as i thought but still... haha yeah. (gretel don't so moody le. :O) played blow wind blow (until both my knees got skin tear and blue-black -.-). MR REUBEN LAI CAME TO CONDUCT WORKSHOP!!! omgosh he's really very very good leh! i really envy the seniors <2006 who were trained under him! :O his training techniques are unique, new, efficient and effective! what a pity mr foong will still be taking us.. sighs. :( haha some seniors specially came back to meet him but he had already left, pity. shall implement all his warm ups and techniques during practices. :) (ps: he said that our batch sings better than <2006 dunno whether true anot hahaha! ;)) then me and gretel took charge of sight-singing lessons while weilin, yishan and yinghui took theory. was quite jialat cos choir was noisy in a sense. please instill more self-discipline among yourselves, choir! ahahaha the video on the musical lollol!!! i really doubted if ms tan showed us the correct one!! so many NC16 stuff and erhh well... haha can't say here!!! not suitable for innocent sec 1s zomg. ;D
one more month step down le. after this time i realised that although it's only one day, i've probably bonded with a couple more choir members, esp the sec 1s, in a sense? haha sorry guys, you all know my name but i still don't really know yours..! :X will my tears be worth it on 16april? or maybe i should just save them for the next time? i really don't know. wish the choir all the best for syf'11 and in the future.
