so much has happened these few weeks...
1) Collection of os results. well, i didn't do too badly, neither that good too. but i guess i was quite relieved that this whole thing is finally over. esp Amath; prelims i got E8, then for os i got A2.! so i was feeling disappointed about my L1R5, then i called various people to let them know my results. as i was reading out the grade received for each subject, i just cried, esp Amath lol... i'm glad that i did way better for most subjects, though a few were disappointing... :( POA and Chem could have been better i guess. :/ and hmt was kind of a surprise! :D
2) Choosing my subject combi. really dk what to choose... good thing is i don't need to participate in JAE. a few poly courses appealed greatly to me, no harm glancing through heh! :P i guess i'll go with LCME, LH1. yep that's what i intend to go for..., science stream! hope i don't make the wrong decision!. >.< i know JC's gonna be very hectic, tough and tiring, but there's nothing i can do. i'm gonna embrace it and face what's to come bravely; be it academics, choir or travelling time.
3) AJChoir. so i've spend around 2-3 months getting to know the choir (seniors/speed of learning etc). i don't think that there's another choir more suitable for me. i've never experienced anything like this before.. i.e. learning of songs can be completed so quickly, every section is strong and can sing their own parts properly, the blending of SATB voices... on top of that, discipline is in place and nobody uses vulgarities or anything like that. there's no need to shout to get attention and everybody complies readily. the seniors are really nice and treat the DSAs well.. (at least for the girls :D) compared with CTchoir, what more can i ask for?! i can't wait to get my first GOLD-WITH-HONOURS this year...! xD i know that AJChoir will be able to get G/H. speaking of which, it's the only college with the most number of activities/practices during the holidays...
--> caroling. i didn't attend, but i went to watch! i've also learnt a few of the carols and they're awesome. ^^
--> aj open house. damn awesome! :D performing on stage with a solid choir, roaming around in 2 seperate groups and singing random songs, ACAPELLA.! (Y) you hardly see that in CTchoir.! the climax was nearing the end of open house.. the choir was singing at the foyer with the last of people leaving. we started with songs like "stand by me", "lion sleeps tonight", "joy to the world" etc. then "no importa" was the last song. i stood there and we swayed while we sang; it was the first time i felt like closing my eyes. with the harmonious blending of voices and the atmosphere and everything, i felt what the seniors have been saying all these while. i dint feel that singing this song at choir room, nor in the hall on stage..; but at the foyer i did have this sudden urge to cry. yeah, it was incredibly awesome. :') made me stunned for a few minutes...

Mr. Kwei came ytd and practice was super productive!.. ^^
