choir camp '11, a resounding success.! :) i don't know about how others think, but in my opinion it was one of the best camps i've ever attended! unique in a sense it's a sole choir camp, unique in another way it helped with the bonding part too. :)
day one: ice breakers first, and group one was certainly the hyper one! XD Denyse, QianHui, Me, (CTSS whoo!!) Gisela, Joey, Shaun, Clarence, Gerald Lim & Jonas. we rock hahaha! then sectionals, was kind of boring but we persevered (Gilbert & Sullivan songs). No Importa sectionals and then G&S again. after that, break and the J1s went to bathe. then J1s Dawn Wind with JunWei. well, we kind of sound alright but not as good as the seniors yet. :/ "it's all about balance.." 'horror' movie in LT2 and it was time for nightwalk wahaha! must thank the seniors for scaring us, i know they themselves were scared as well. :X that's why i try not to scare them too. some people who did scare them were really too much in a sense. -.- haha i screamed for literally almost every station sighs.
day two: PT in the morning. choir running together while singing random songs like "happy birthday", "school song", "NDP songs" was really (Y). then games in our groups. well done group one, we won like every game station!! :D the school uncles and aunties are all so nice, lend denyse slippers. my slippers broke and gerald lent me mine, so nice. love our group banner and group cheer!! XD "woooahhhhhh~~" :D first time digging watermelon with our bare fingers; gross, but nevertheless, the sweetest watermelon i've ever tasted. :) getting wet was fun and worth it too. yeah man. ^^ mambo dance lesson was (Y) too. whole choir dancing tgt, you know that feeling of accomplishment and togetherness. :P
overall choir camp's really one to remember. :) must really thank the teachers, organising committee, food comm and the seniors for making it such a memorable one. :D AJChoir ♥ sing.feel.love
